| The Tri-City Optimist Youth Ice Hockey Association (TOYIHA) has adopted the requirement that no person will be considered for the appointment as a TOYIHA Coach until the Coaching Committee has received a completed coaching application and USA Hockey Volunteer Position Application. In accordance with the Tri-State Amateur Hockey Association guidelines, Coaches, both head and assistant, are required to obtain the required level of certification through the USA Hockey Coaching Achievement Program. Each coach must be USA Hockey carded at the appropriate level by December 31, 2007. In addition, each coach will be required to comply with the screening procedures of USA Hockey. |
